If you’ve used our platform, you are most likely familiar with the post and comment anonymously tag. This feature feels like common sense on our platform, if you are sharing personal, naught and/or dark stories you should be protected. But here’s the best part, your comments are not connected to your profile so even we do not know who left the comment. This seems dangerous but our state of the art censorship system can detect hate speech before it occurs, meaning that unwanted comments are filtered so we don’t have to reprimand the account responsible, as they won’t be able to say anything horrible in the first place.

Dirty Diaries doesn’t believe in the suppression ideas. However, we don’t believe in hatred based on a person identity. Thus it was imperative for us to build a censorship system which allows for smut/romance/fantasy stories while ensuring all of our users, of any identity, can feel protected and heard on our platform

▶ do we store identifying information?: Depends, your email is linked to your account to ensure authentication but this is to your discretion but your name, age, gender, etc is not stored

▶ who owns Dirty Diaries?: Dirty Diaries is privately owned and will stay this way, we prioritize people over profit always. Other social media makes money with user data in a superfluous manner. We rely on the support of our users
